Since becoming an attorney, Alex Britain has practiced extensively in the areas of estate planning, probate, and civil litigation. He believes it is important to actively listen to clients and thoroughly understand their concerns in order to provide an optimal outcome for them.
Alex received a B.A. in Politics from Willamette University, with a minor in Asian studies, following his semester abroad in Japan.
Prior to starting law school, Alex worked with underprivileged youth with AmeriCorps VISTA, and as a legal assistant working with clients seeking Social Security Disability coverage.
While attending Willamette College of Law, Alex completed a legal internship with the Oregon State Legislature’s Legal Counsel Department for the Judiciary Committee, and worked at the Willamette University Human Rights Clinic helping indigent clients apply for asylum. As an attorney in Bellingham, he regularly volunteered with LAW Advocates by providing pro bono legal services for low-income members of the community.
