With a reputation for being responsive and approachable, Jessika assists clients not only with sound legal strategies but in navigating the uncertainties of litigation. She works to simplify the litigation process as she pursues solutions that align with clients’ legal objectives.
Today, Jessika focuses her practice on general litigation and insurance defense.
Jessika has advised and defended clients in a range of matters including lawsuits arising from claims involving breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, trademark infringement, employment discrimination, premises liability, products liability, and other matters. Her clients include clients of all sizes in both the public and private sectors in state and federal courts.
Prior to joining Davis Rothwell, Jessika served as law clerk to the Honorable Cassandra Lopez-Shaw and the Honorable Jon T. Scott of the Snohomish County Superior Court. There, she gained exposure to a breadth of substantive procedural criminal and civil law through drafting memoranda and Orders on issues presented by state cases. Having also participated in civil and criminal bench and jury trials, she was able to become well-versed with the various phases of trial including jury selection, witness testimony, jury instruction and jury deliberation processes.
In her free time, Jessika enjoys playing the piano, reading, learning finance, rooting for the Dodgers, and spending time with her tiny Maltipoo named Cali.
