Experience
In 1978 the State of Oregon created the Professional Liability Fund (PLF) to provide mandatory primary malpractice coverage for Oregon lawyers. Bill Davis, one of our founding partners, was part of the original panel to represent Oregon lawyers. That representation continues today, and has included firm members handling and trying legal malpractice cases for the PLF and other malpractice providers in nearly every county of the states of Oregon and Washington.
Drawing on the firm’s extensive legal malpractice defense experience, the firm is regularly called upon to represent other professionals. The firm has handled licensing matters for professionals, consulted on non-litigation matters, and for decades have defended them in arbitration, trial, and on appeal.
